Code of Conduct

We encourage open, respectful, and professional communication. All users are expected to engage with one another in a manner that fosters collaboration and constructive dialogue.

• Treat all community members with dignity and courtesy, regardless of their background, role, or opinion.
• Welcome diverse viewpoints and engage with them thoughtfully and in good faith.
• Provide feedback that is constructive and focused on the subject matter, not on individuals.
• Avoid personal attacks, insults, harassment, hate speech, or any form of discriminatory language or behavior.

Protecting the privacy of individuals within our community is a shared responsibility. Every user must handle personal information with care and respect.

• Do not share, publish, or distribute the personal information of other users without their explicit and informed consent.
• Respect the confidentiality of private communications and internal business data.
• Report any suspected data breach or unauthorized use of personal information to the platform administrators immediately.
• Adhere to all applicable data protection laws, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA No. 10173).

Respect for intellectual property is fundamental to a trustworthy platform. Users are expected to share content responsibly and lawfully.

• Do not upload, share, or distribute content you do not have the right to use or share, including copyrighted text, images, software, or other materials.
• Properly attribute all third-party content and obtain necessary permissions before publishing.
• Respect trademarks, confidential business information, and proprietary data belonging to eiBUY, MNLeistung Inc., or any third party.
• Content you contribute to the platform may be used by eiBUY for platform improvement and service delivery purposes.

Quality contributions strengthen the community. All users are encouraged to share information and insights that are relevant, accurate, and genuinely useful to others.

• Keep discussions on-topic and relevant to procurement, inventory management, and related business operations.
• Avoid spam, repetitive messages, or content designed solely for self-promotion or advertising.
• Verify the accuracy of information before sharing it within the community.
• Contribute to discussions in ways that enrich the collective knowledge and experience of all users.

To maintain a safe and professional environment, the following types of content and discussions are strictly prohibited on the eiBUY platform:

• Content that is offensive, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
• Content that promotes illegal activities, fraud, or deceptive practices.
• Graphic violence, adult content, or any material inappropriate for a professional business context.
• Sensitive political, religious, or other highly polarizing topics unrelated to the platform's purpose.
• Misinformation, deliberate falsehoods, or content designed to mislead other users.

eiBUY is a professional business platform and all interactions should reflect that context.

• Use professional and respectful language in all communications, presentations, and submissions.
• Avoid the use of vulgar, obscene, or inappropriate language in any platform channel or communication.
• Represent your organization, role, and qualifications honestly and accurately.
• Treat all users — whether colleagues, vendors, clients, or administrators — with equal respect and consideration.

The safety and well-being of every member of our community is a top priority.

• Do not engage in any behavior that could jeopardize the physical, psychological, or financial safety of any user.
• Do not exploit vulnerabilities in the platform or attempt unauthorized access to any account, data, or system.
• Report any suspicious activity, potential security threats, or harmful behavior to the eiBUY support team promptly.
• Cooperate with moderation and security investigations in good faith.

eiBUY administrators and moderators are responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment. Their decisions reflect a commitment to the integrity and welfare of the entire community.

• Moderators reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates this Code of Conduct without prior notice.
• Repeat violations or egregious breaches of this Code may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
• All users are equally accountable for their conduct, regardless of their role, seniority, or affiliation.
• Moderation decisions can be appealed by contacting the eiBUY support team with a clear and detailed explanation.

We rely on the active participation of our community to uphold these standards. If you witness or experience a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it promptly.

• Report violations to the eiBUY support team via email at info@mnleistung.ph.
• Provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots, timestamps, and the usernames of those involved where applicable.
• All reports will be treated with confidentiality and investigated impartially.
• Retaliation against individuals who report violations in good faith is itself a violation of this Code and will be subject to disciplinary action.

Violations of this Code of Conduct will be taken seriously and addressed proportionately. Depending on the severity and frequency of the violation, consequences may include:

• Formal Warning: A written notice identifying the violation and expected corrective action.
• Content Removal: Removal of the offending content from the platform.
• Temporary Suspension: Temporary suspension of platform access pending investigation or as a disciplinary measure.
• Permanent Ban: Permanent removal of the user account and revocation of all platform access rights.
• Legal Action: For serious violations involving illegal activity or significant harm, eiBUY reserves the right to refer the matter to appropriate legal authorities.

eiBUY is dedicated to the ongoing improvement of our community standards and platform experience.

• This Code of Conduct will be reviewed and updated regularly to reflect the evolving needs of our community and applicable legal requirements.
• We welcome constructive feedback and suggestions from our users on how to improve these guidelines.
• All users will be notified of material changes to this Code through platform announcements or email communication.
